No-one likes to think it will happen to them, but in the event that it does, rest assured that we have a very experienced Criminal team at Mark Redler & Co, headed up principally by Robert Chadwick, and assisted by Michael Wetton, although Mark Redler also remains a part of the Criminal team. They will explain the procedures involved, go through all the paperwork with you, prepare any relevant documentation, attend at court to represent you and keep you fully informed throughout the whole matter.

Robert Chadwick has been practising law for 15 years and became a partner in the firm in April 2003. Robert is a Duty Solicitor and is also an accredited member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel.

He is an avid Bruce Springsteen fan and follower of Motor Sport, and recently celebrated his 40th birthday.

Michael Wetton has been practising law for over 4 years and has recently joined us from another firm. He has been a welcome addition to our criminal team. Michael is a Duty Solicitor and is also on the Law Society's Mental Health Panel.

Michael is very keen on motorbikes and is a regular five-a-side footballer.

Police Station Representation - We are able to offer expert advice and representation to clients who are detained at the police station either under arrest or as volunteers.

Magistrates Court - We represent clients in the magistrates Court for all types of Criminal/Motoring proceedings and are able to advise as to the availability of Public Funding (formerly called Legal Aid).

We also represent clients in the Magistrates Court for Licensing Matters.

Crown Court - We retain the services of many Barristers to represent clients in proceedings before the Crown Court. Counsel instructed by us are skilled, conscientious and friendly and we work as a team with Defence Counsel.
